The Quartermaster Detail issues allotted equipment, uniforms, and accessories to all officers and uniformed civilians within the City of Miami Police Department. This detail frequently communicates with the uniform company to ensure that uniform needs are met for the entire department. The Quartermaster Detail also issues replacements for lost or damaged items.

The Fleet Liaison Detail assigns vehicles to sworn and civilian members of the department. Vehicles are assigned based on the type of work that they are needed for (ex: marked with a cage, marked without a cage, or unmarked without a cage). The Fleet Liaison Detail also assigns specialty vehicles which are equipped for specialized units such as S.W.A.T, Marine Patrol, and the Mounted Detail. If an assigned vehicle requires repairs or maintenance, the Fleet Liaison Detail will provide a suitable spare vehicle until the assigned vehicle is ready. If a vehicle cannot be repaired, another vehicle will be assigned.
